On December 12, a large crowd of media and supporters gathered at Asheville Public Works Building for the ribbon cutting of the City’s first Brightfield™ Charging Station. Congressman Heath Shuler, Mayor Terry Bellamy, NC Department of Commerce Deputy Secretary Dale Carroll, and AdvatageWest CEO Scott Hamilton each addressed the crowd with praises for BioWheels RTS (now Brightfield™ Transportation Solutions) and Asheville City staff who worked long and hard to create the public/private partnership that made this Brightfield™ installation possible.
